An unusually creative setting of “Amazing Grace” to feature your percussion section, with body percussion and call and response for the winds. Opening with aleatory sounds to place the listener in the jungles of Africa, the wind players are soon stomping, clapping, and snapping to establish the beat. After a marimba ostinato, an interplay between djembe and congas and bongos begins.
